Just picked up '01 6MT w/125k for $6.7k in San Francisco
Not perfect, but pretty well maintained, all regular repairs done (air suspension, timing belt, 30k intervals, etc.).
It's throwing a few VAG codes, but now that I have the 6MT all repairs are an 'investment' rather than an 'expense' since the 6MT is a long term play whereas the Tip was less so.
Uh, yeah, I now have TWO ARs - both '01, one 6MT, one Tip. Still trying to explain that to the wife...

OK, I'd believe it.
I figured once that once a car reaches 150,000 miles it's "depreciated" to zero and only worth what someone would pay for it as a klunker based on looks, utility and expected future reliability. $3750 is good for a klunker.
