Default tick tock, tick tock

well 2004AR, i am still waiting. car has been at the dealer since last tuesday!!! they were in the process of setting up an appointment with the regional electronics service tech guy when (allegedly) audi of america changed its procedures for requesting said service. they had to put in a written request, which they did, and now they are waiting to hear from him. i am hoping that he will be able to come to the dealer next week, as this is getting ridiculous.

Hi Gforcephoto,

Sorry for my late reply. That sounds really ridiculous, especially since your car is there for days while no one is even showing up to work on it.

How difficult can it really be to figure this thing out, doesn't seem like rocket science to me and the fact that other cars have the same issue doesn't make it normal.

Please keep me informed, I really appreciate it, and I hope you will get your car back very soon!

Default still waiting....

hi again 2004 allroad,

first off, gforce never responded to your thread. i am rushpuppy. anyway, i called the dealer today, as it has now been THREE WEEKS. nothing has changed. very frustrating. i put in a call to audi customer service to let them know that a field engineer has failed to respond to a service request for the last 2 weeks. i've got a guy on it now and should get a real update tomorrow. uggghhhhh!!!!

Default Oops...confused

Sorry that I called you the wrong name :-)

Gforcephoto replied to an e-mail I sent him a while back. They ordered him a new amp although they couldn't hear the hiss... At the time he hadn't taken it in yet to put in the new amp but from your experience it seems like that won't help anything anyway.

So your car is still at the dealer or did you pick it up again?

We are moving next month to Europe and we will ship the allroad. I'll take it in to the dealer overthere as soon as it gets there, maybe they can be of some sort of help. Will keep you updated of course.
