Best Timing Belt Kit ?
Hey All(roaders),
Is it best to buy my 2.7t timing belt kit from Audi , with all the goodies (Water Pump, Belt, tensioners etc) or is there an "UBER Quality" kit that is better ? What have you guys used ? want it as grenade proof as possible !...shame nobody makes a timing chain conversion kit !
Regards,
Dennis

Either get it from Axis Motorsport or Pure Motorsports. Either one will get you OEM parts for a much better price than the dealer.
Personally i prefer Axis because he's closer, but both are excellent to deal with.

I would add Avalon Motorsports to that list, they are in denver. They do web sales at: www.avalonmotorsports.com though the kit isn't listed there. Shoot them an email or call them.
They put together a good complete kit. It is what I used on my recent rebuild. It was $349 ~6 months ago.
