Thanks a million, Blue...I'll def keep your watermark on the bottom if I send them out. Awesome photos...if I get some pics from Jim, I should have a pretty good collection to last for a few sigs.

I spoke to photographer (Mike). He's cool with participants taking pix, he just...
... gets hosed when an outsider comes in, and (he says) puts cards on folks' windshield offering the pix. He was a real track freak, and he know a LOT about cars.

We actually left at lunch...
both of us figured we accomplished our goals for the weekend and he was running out of tires and I was running out of brakes. So we did the smart thing for once and quit while we were ahead.
How were your Tuesday runs? Have as much fun as we told you?

I meant the Track Officials... however
yeah, the photo folks do some awesome work! I looked through what they had shot on the first day and was impressed. I have no intention of trying to undercut anyone that comes to the track to provide that service. I just do it for fun and when I get time. My only problem with the folks that were there is that I think their price was just a bit on the high side. For a CD of the photos of you they want $80 at the track, $85 after the event. $50 I think would be a steal. I was prepared to pay $60. Once I saw their work I could live with $65. $80 was the breaking point for me that I just couldn't justify it. Granted that they have a good bit of overhead with a printer that they haul around the costs in the 6 figures, and I don't even want to know what the tow rig cost and to run it back and forth from coast-to-coast. Again, I would LOVE a CD of the photo of my car from this weekend and my 944 from the last weekend, but when you go there on a budget to start with, hell... I burned up $80 of gas on the track alone!

thanks Rob....I love the MINI on the track...next spring
all new coil over suspension with camber plates, adjustable rear control arms, new tires, and a lighter set of rims. Brakes will be just new pads. Too bad they closed most of the tracks around here, have to drive to either Pueblo, LaJunta or Utah to get track time now. Closest is about 2.5 hours away....which is not too bad, but the best track is Miller Motor Sports in Utah, brand new, huge track, but 9 hour drive. maybe after I get the car set up, I will head out there next spring.
This year is dedicated to house mods...Home theater, finished the garage, and now, landscaping.
Sure looks like you were having a blast pushing that 4400lb beast around the track. I loved tracking my allroad, but only did that twice.
