Allroad. So I married a super supermodel!
After years of battling with The Allroad blues, I've decided to post my thoughts on owning an Audi Allroad.
So, I bought a sporty supermodel.
Owning an Allroad is like dating Claudia Schiffer (for her outside) and Venus Williams (for her inside).
You cannot beat the beauty and strength of this Allroad supermodel.
Now as we all know, supermodels certainly do come with their issues and their share of baggage.
They are temperamental, moody and cost an arm and a leg to maintain.
When something is wrong, they are miserable, but when they're in the zone, they're so invigoratingly addictive that suckers (like me) get weak at the knees.
Their relationships are rocky and passionate, and almost always end in a divorce, but there's always one gobsmacked red blooded bugger who will bite that bullet once again.
If you want a smooth marriage, don't marry her.
If you're up for some fun and frustration, dive in.
You'll have the best, and worst times, but most of all, it will be a massive learning experience. In time you'll look back and realize that although she might be out of your life (just like the cash from your wallet), you once wore a shiny eagle feather in your cap.

I concur!
Dating a super super-model is uncertain at times... that's why its good to have a contingency plan in line, just inase of future hardships. Thanks for the good read!!

You poor bugger, that's what you get for living in darkest Africa where there about 5 Allroads in total! Come to Boulder and they are 10 a penny, plenty of spares and around $5k to buy - can ship a few over for you!!!!

My allroad is more like Betty White... years past her prime but still kickin' it down the road well enough for her age.
Are you referring to the new ones or the ur-allroads ?
Now, if we talk the RS6, then we definitely have a sexy beast that is high maintenance.

Mike. She looks beautiful!
My wife tells me to get rid of the 'thing' which quite obviously offends me
And when I get thinking, I actually think it would make more sense to buy a second one like you have.
I'm guessing even if you use it for parts, it will be a worthwhile purchase.
Parts here in South Africa are very hard to come by. I had to buy a steering clock spring from the US as there wasn't one available here.
I'm in the process of doing the same with two lower control arms. The garage that fitted a suspension kit here, only had the standard A6 parts, and the lower control arm didn't fit...of course!
The car is affordable to buy (even here), but a bitch to maintain.
