Default aftermarket Arnott airspring guinea pig BT:

new spring installed - works like a charm/very happy.

Old OEM spring is might lighter than the new Arnott spring. I have the old part if anyone wants itwants to experiment with the slime solutions (replaced when noticed a very slow leak when parked at lvl 2. No leaks at lvl 3).

NOTE: My indy shop (accidentally?) did NOT replace the spring perch with the new one I purchased - I'll be returning it to Arnott, unless one of you ff's want it.

good point but I'm on a really tight budget and I rather use the $ towards the ohter front spring

I'm really having problems removing the old one. The pinch bolt that holds the upper control arms is stuck...

I did put in a lot of grunt and effort, but I didn't think about the heat...though it might damage the rubber seals(of the control arms)

Default no need to remove the pinch bolt. Just deflate the bag and undo the bolt at the inside of each

control arm.
