About to order parts for timing belt and valve cover gaskets
Looks like i am going to tackle the timing belt and valve cover gaskets in the near future. Most likely will be ordering the kits from Blau Parts, mainly because of the tool rental program. Is there any other maintenance items i should look into while I'm in there?

Definitely get the full top end reseal kit. Look at JH Motorsports kit to get a list. The Cam seal gaskets are a definite leakage issue. Blauparts has a DIY showing why.
Also, make sure the Cam chain tensioner 3366 is in that tool kit!
Just tried to do this without it. .... no go.

Besides the timing belt kit you will also need to get this kit: http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=GF21002-1C
It includes the cam tool and extra cam seals you will need.

also noticed some oil around the pcv lately, so that need to be changed too. but looks like in the other thread about that the whole spider hose needs to be changed as well? or can i just pop the valve off somehow?

Watch out for those plastic tubes on the top that connect to the aluminum elbow coming out of the top back of the valve cover. That was the only thing I broke...they are brittle!
Can someone tell me what those are? And where to get a better solution. The OEM part is a POS IMO.
Also a link to the spider hose (which when I think about it....that kind of looks like the mess of tubes that I broke one of....a body with a bunch of tubes coming off it?) would be nice.
Cheers all!
Also people say that getting a better oil cap helps relieve pressure on the gaskets.

Going at it tomorrow! Hopefully everything goes well. But I just know there's going to be something silly taking up more time than it should.
