Default 235-55-17' anyone?

My car has 225/55/17 and I'm looking to go 235/55/17. Has anyone here use these sizes on OEM rims?
Thanks
Alex

Don't worry! I'm running 235/50 R18 without any issues and had a look 235/55 R17 on a clubman's AR.

Try this site, seems to be the best for these questions...

I run 235/45/17 wintersports on the stock double spokes. Would like to go 235/50/17 next winter if it will fit.

I really like how the 235's look on the car over the 225's.

I would raise this cold topic again - to be clear on the stance:

Does the 235/55 r17 fit on the stock Allroad on stock ET25 7,5 x 17 rims WITHOUT spacers?

With spacer I would say: no question. But I do not want to use spacers at all. They cause vibrations after a harder deceleration quite easily (they go wrong - at least the alloy ones)

According to the link below and my measurement, a 235/55 R17 on the 5-arm (twinspoke with titanium bolts) wheel would come 5mm closer which means it would be around 12mm close to the running gear components. Is it still acceptable?

Thank you very much! I have a seemingly good option for Nokian SUV3. This tire has good reputation and was awarded by 4x4 magazines. The other candidate is the Conti 830p, in OEM 225/55 size if I can get it for less than the "normal" price.
