2005 AllRoad Front Pads, 4 or 8???
I was shopping around for brakes for my soon to be AR. I have decided to go with R1 Concepts Drilled Rotors, any one have used this? Unfortunately I keep finding 8 pads sets frequently listed as the pads that fits the V6 AR Is the 8 pad set is for the V8 and the 4 pad set for the v6?

Last night I was digging and could not find anything. I asked the seller and he said, "other than its function, I could not tell you anything else". I looked around some more and came across this, mistery solved. For 05 4 pads in the v6 and 8 pads in the v8.

For my 03 2,7T it´s two per wheel, I also got the heads-up about possible 4 pad-per wheel configuration via Autohaus. ATE/Girling, there´s the difference I was told by my local Audi dealer.
Think most of AR´s has 2-per wheel config.

My 05 4.2 came with the 8 pad fronts. It's easy to look and see, depending ability to see through your wheels.
I replaced them with the StopTech big brake kit, which only has 4 pads on the fronts. No difference in feel.
