10 cylinders, 3 turbos....
... now reside in my garage. My '06 A4 2.0T Q now shares space with my wife's newly purchased 2003 Burgundy Red Pearl Effect Allroad 2.7T Q. CPO, with 41k on it. We bought it at Carousel Audi, in Minneapolis, MN.
What a machine! I've always loved the AR, but never needed one until now... kid, wife, dog, stuff, etc, etc. The first time a saw an AR in person was at a dealer in Germany. It was a 2.5 TDI! Man I wish that was an option here.
Anyway Burg red seems to be somewhat rare... at least around MN. Are there any others out there?
I love to tinker with cars so this is the perfect vehicle for me. The possible maintenance issues don't scare me much. After all, this is my 5th VAG product, and 3rd Audi. I've done most maintenance my self, and a bit of modding:
Past:
'85 5000s- poor student POS
'95 Jetta GL- another POS, traded for Passat
'99 Passat 1.8t- GIAC+eibachs+Neuspeed rear bar= FFC (fun family car)
Present:
'06 A4 2.0T Quattro - Because no one should suffer with FWD
'03 Allroad Quattro- Ditto- but with more stuff
Thanks for listening!
Jim

It may be the cause of marital strife, you will want to drive it ! Mine...
came from Carousel originally. I have seen one other Burgundy ar around town. It is a great color.
You can check it out in the snow tomorrow.

And here's my pitch...
Jim, if you haven't already, join up at mnaudi.com - there are a few allroaders now, unlike when I joined, but more is always better. It'd be cool to see your burgundy in person at a lunch, wrenching get-together or other event.

not many on the banks of this part of the Mississippi

Good to see another burgundy allroad!

Tough to keep the swirls away, try Menzerna products.. Full Molecular Jacket for final coat, worked pretty well last summer_IMHO. Mirrorworks Detail near Seattle did the job for me. Great smooth shine & has really lasted throught the cruddy Fall/Winter we have had out here.
The shot above was done prior to the detail but shows a bit of the color...tough color to photograph well.
Congrats on your latest acquisition!

Troy's work.
As has been said, the color shows poorly in most photos, mine included.
