I bought a new 2018 S5 (back in 2018) with (option color): Florett Silver Metallic
I went to order a paint correction kit, checking with many vendors, and they all show:

LZ7G/L5, Florett Silver Metallic, 2018 Audi S5

In the wheel well of my car, I see: LY7G. (which on vendor sites is paint code for: Quartz Gray Metallic).



If you have a 2018 Florett Silver Metallic S5, what is your paint code?

(I will remedy with dealer... but just curious what others see).

Odd. Do the rest of the option codes and the VIN match your car?

The VIN on the wheel well tag (shown in pic) DOES match the car VIN.
The car VIN, in turn, does match the original window/dealer sticker which shows color Florett Silver Metallic.
I do hope some other similar owners respond... I am ever so curious to see if there is a trend.

LZ is Florett. LY is Quarty Grey. Don't know why you are seeing what you see...

My 2019 Florett Silver RS5 with black optic has a different code in the trunk, than the Audi build webpage.

Audi build it web: Florett Silver metallic F14 L5L5

The 2019 Audi order guide says L5L5 for 2019 RS5. The 2018 Audi order guide has the same L5L5 for 2018 S5

Looks like the actual in your RS5 trunk matches the expected paint code: LZ7G, Florett Silver Metallic.
I would expect any (actual) Florett Silver Metallic Audi to be LZ7G. I assume the data in the trunk is generated at the factory, during assembly.
I will continue to scratch my head... in my case... until I talk with the dealer.
