Default Virtual Cockpit brightness

Is there a way to adjust the virtual cockpit display brightness alone? I only know how to adjust it with the brightness **** to the right of the headlight selector that ties in to the brightness of everything. The central MMI display has its own brightness setting in the MMI menu but I can't find anything for the virtual cockpit.

Yes checked the manual, no luck. I live in a rural area with no street or highway lighting so I have the brightness levels turned down all the way but the cockpit display is still a little too bright.

Just to the right of the head light switch is a button that you push and when it releases you can turn to adjust the brightness.

On mine that is used to adjust the position of the HUD as well as turn it on or off.

It’s in the owners manual in fact I did it today. If you look where the headlight switch is the brightness **** is right next to it. On my car yo touch the button and it pops out. Turn the **** to adjust brightness and then push it back in..

there's 2 buttons; the one for the HUD and the other next to it that you push in to pop it out and adjust the brightness.

you use the push button adjacent to the headlight switch for the Virtual Cockpit, and then can re-dim the MMI via the MMI settings menu
