@Burrcold

Have you seen the "lighted M shifter," really a nice feeling shifter, dresses up the center console, and an easy install.

It doesn't work on the M3 since there are shift intensity buttons. That's more made for the "m-lite" models and the X models.

Congratulations!

Can you post a picture on the dash display. I can kind of see it but I would like to see it from the drivers seat! Thank you and Happy Motoring!

Love the exterior, beaver grin and all. Not so much the interior.

Default Take the two day M course at Greer, SC

It's hard to say goodbye to the RS5 because it's so good looking! Despite the pig nose, the G80 M3 looks and aggressive bulges are really appealing to me in person (I definitely get the looks aren't for everyone).

I don't keep cars for that long, so who knows this might just buy me some time before the B10 RS5 comes out!

For those that care, I went with Skyscraper Grey Metallic exterior on Fiona Red interior (full leather this time - dash, door cards, etc.). Looks basically like the one in this picture.
It's a gas, fly into GSP, rent a car, stay at the Westin Downtown, great food across the street and downtown, drive to BMW Performance Center for 4-5 hours of on-track experience saturday and sunday. Center also provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner saturday, breakfast and lunch sunday. Their cars, M3/M4/M2/M5. Max speed probably around 120 even with M5 Competition, back straight not fully used (track not certified for 140mph). Autocross, wet/dry skid pad, figure 8 rat race, plus two or three short road circuits. You will learn the limits of the car and realize there is NO space on the street to get close to those limits. If you had taken delivery at Greer you also get a half day instruction on the track with their car.

And P-word is ranked even higher. Rabid fans, so what. It's all subjective. I prefer BMW ergos on my M5 but also drive A5, daughter's A3, etc. Could have bought an R8 (nuts to insane markup and dealers) but bought a 24 Stingray convertible at MSRP.

Looked at a used P-car and for less money I purchased a 24 Stingray Coupe. Still have my S-5 Cabriolet and love the Corvette since it is so different compared to the Audi.

P Car is coming. Just need to find my spec (and something that's not insanely overpriced).
