Sold the RS5 - went over to the dark/beaver tooth side

Audi used to have that. I remember when I bought my 2013 S4 there was a tracking website where you could even track the carrier ship and it had live webcams of the railyard at the port and also right at dockside. They also had photos from the factory. They had just launched it would I got my car and I was helping them work through some issues with it. The website won a few awards too. They didn't keep it around for very long and the website no longer exists. I thought it was a really cool idea at the time.
Here's a video showing a demo:
Here's a link to the ad agency that built it talking about the site:

Pretty cool. Not sure why Audi can’t do the same. I love my car but the ordering and waiting game was ridiculously lame. Without a change to the system I doubt I’d ever do it again. Spending this kind of money on a car should include better communication.

Other companies have done it, but most have pissed their pennies away and scrapped any fun out of the buying process. It's nice to see in this modern era of who gives a ****.

Its always exciting to purchase a new car and hope you enjoy your new ride. However, the state of chaos BMW is in with their horrible business decision to cater the exterior design to the china market (40% of their total sales if I'm not correct) is going to haunt them forever. I know numerous potential BMW customers that ended up getting a different brand due to this poor grille design.

I don't consider year over year growth that important especially in a year (2022) that was plagued with chip shortages, etc. Bottom line is BMW had its biggest sales volume year ever, and was the top seller in the luxury segment. How is that me being infected by their PR machine? It's just numbers plain and simple. The other dude said BMW is in a state of chaos and making horrible business decisions...last time I checked, being the leader in any segment is the opposite of chaos.
