Price Negotiations on 2024 s5
Looking to purchase a 2024 S5 premium plus. Was quoted MSRP. Any one know if it’s possible to do better than MSRP currently? Car is on the lot.

Unless things are radically different in your area of the country, you should not be paying MSRP for an S5 these days.
The dealer closest to me is quoting $2-4k off MSRP on their website as a starting point. I am sure they would give a bit more if you actually started negotiating.
I'm in the Washington DC area, in case it helps.

Costco had a $1500 rebate on S5s recently. Based on the inventory I've seen at my local Audi dealer, there should be significant room to negotiate.

I’m in the same situation and just waiting til my car sells but based on my prelim discussions via SMS, not even in person, dealership is willing to move on price beyond the club discount pricing… just depend on how long the car has been there.

Our local Audi dealer does nothing but MRSP, plus addons they decide to add. The city 2 hours away often has starting prices at $2000-3000 off and will often haggle. So my advice is try a different dealer even if you have to drive. My current Audi, I saved almost $7000 by driving 2.5 hours away.

If you buying a non-RS car, consider joining the local/regional Audi Club Chapter. At their discretion, an Audi dealer can offer you as a Club Member, a non-RS car at 6% off MSRP, which should price the vehicle at invoice. I joined Audi Club for other reasons, and the $179 for a 3-yr membership is a great deal, IMO. For planning purposes, you need to be a Club member for a minimum 6 months before you can qualify for the 6% discount.
Despite the exclusion of RS from Audi Club pricing discounts, I still saved <!> $7000 USD by ordering my '23 RS5 Coupe from an out-of-state dealer, about a 4-hr drive away. The local area Audi dealers in late '22/early '23 all wanted $5k over MSRP for a new RS5, and that's IF they had an allocation. The dealer I bought the RS5 from also did not pass along the $2K USD MSRP increase that occurred in late '22.

Local dealership doesn't have any '24 S5's in stock, but they have a '23 S5 Prestige marked at $5k under MSRP on the lot. It's an Autonation dealership so there would be no negotiation on that price.

Or am I looking at the wrong thing?
