Please Compare the 2018 Cabriolet with the Previous Model
For those of you that had the 2010 - 2017 Cabriolet and are now driving the 2018 Cabriolet please comment on your likes, dislikes, impressions between the two models. I had a 2010 and am currently driving a 2011. I only have 24,000 miles on the 2011 and am trying to discover whether the the Virtual Cockpit and/or the turbocharged V6 is enough to make me "upgrade". All comments and opinions are welcome. Thanks!

The Cabriolet hasn't been out that long and based on the posts here, most are going with the SB. I purchased my S5 cab last week. For me the improved ride, seats and tech were worth me trading in my 16 coupe. Go check one out and take it for a drive.

I only owned '10 and '11 S5 Cabriolets, but I needed the utility of a sedan so I haven't considered the new model. Sorry there were so few responses, but very few Cabriolets are sold. Especially Gen 1 owners moving to Gen 2 models.

Have driven (and ordered) the S5 Cabriolet. It is excellent - for me, the improvements of the B9 over the B8 model change are even more obvious with the cab version. The stiffer chassis is very noticeable.
It has the shorter wheelbase of the S5 Coupé rather than the Sportback (which is the same as the S4), which I prefer as it gives it a bit more agility. They have judged the ride (on adaptive suspension, at least) really well. It is a little softer than the Coupé and Sportback, but handles extremely well in Dynamic mode, and is very compliant (and quiet) in Comfort. It is the best cabriolet I have driven, and I'm not normally a fan (my wife likes them).

Everything else in the B9 is better: feels lighter, is more responsive and agile, is more refined, steers better, handles better, brakes better...

I have a 2013 a5 cab and am currently waiting for my s5 cab to come in. I regretted not getting an s5 and not getting vent seats so that along with all the new technologies were good enough reasons to upgrade.

2010 S5 CAB Prestige + vs 2018 S5 CAB Technik
Hi all, I sold my 2010 silver pearl and leased a 2018 Daytona grey pearl.
It's been 2 months now and 2,000 miles for my American friends.
I am preparing an inside/out - front to rear full review for the Fall.
All I can say for now is that I would trade the 8 speed automatic Turbo for my beloved S-tronic supercharge double-clutch.
Tune in September.
