I'm getting about 550-600km / tank (about 340-370 Miles). I just pushed it over the 1200km mark, so I'm approaching the end of the break in period. I'd love to get 600km+ per tank.

I've been babying it in the city, all comfort mode and auto start/stop.

A5SB, with mixed city/hwy.

At 975 miles and have averaged 16.8 according to the long term trip computer. Only get about 225 miles between fill ups.. Used to get over 300 with my A6. Just wish the tank was bigger.

clearly not a good car for long road trips without stops.

I've got 936 miles on my A5 SB and my fuel average is 31.2 mpg.

The 2.0 liter turbo is fast, fun and efficient.

I'm getting 425+ miles to a tank.

This is great to hear. Personally, I would not be happy with 17mpg for a marginal gain in performance with an S5.

That was mixed mostly around town driving. Yesterday went to airport and back, all freeway 70+ mph and got 26.5 MPG. FYI

I suffer from sever FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) on a lot of things, but not with the 2.0T vs the 6 cylinder.

It has all the power I'd ever need or want.

Bigger tank means more gas to fill at the pump. You either pay more money up front for filling a larger tank, or more frequently and a smaller credit charge on your card. At the end of the day the cost is the same...its just the frequency of fill-ups...HAHA!

It's all perspective but I want a larger tank too because I tend to take long road trips and sometimes finding a gas station in the rural mountain areas can be daunting.

I hope Audi sees the light, because I really would like to replace my A6 with a S5 SB, but if I can't get 600+ km off a tank, it could be a deal breaker for me. I can run 1100-1200 km on the A6.

The small tank is really my only material complaint about these models.

My theory is that they want us to get used to frequently filling it up akin to frequently re-charging as the trend is to move to electric cars over the next 10 years or so... I know, I know... it has to do w/ fuel economy standards...
