Installed lowering springs and I hate them (RS5)
I recently had H&R lowering springs installed and it completely killed the ride quality on this thing.. I'd say it's about 50% worse!
I mean I get it. They have less travel and thus higher spring rates. But still, this thing is nearly undrivable at higher speeds on roads that aren't perfect.
Anyone recommendations for lowering without sacrificing much ride quality? (2019 RS5)

That looks really slammed...

Did you do the H&R HAS? My guess is an install problem - you've gotta be crashing against the bump stops if the ride is that bad.

Was it just the springs- similar to the kit installed in this video? <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuNXgenqofo> I was looking at this bc it seemed like he was saying the ride quality wasn't affected too much, and just doing the springs you still keep the benefits of adaptive damping. I was also worried about ride quality though, so I figured I probably will end up leaving it stock or just minimal drop.

No I just ordered their lowering springs. Not the height adjustable ones. They were installed on the factory struts. I might have to take it back to have them check for wear on the bump stops if that is the case.

Edit: My god, I just realized they only say they're for the Coupe on their site. FML if that's why they are riding bad.

No, mine were not height adjustable. These are them:

I highly doubt that you getting the coupe version is causing the ride to be so bad.
Your drop also does look very low for a new install. Below is my 034 springs after 2.5 years.
I also wonder if the bushings were clocked/indexed after the drop was installed. Basically just loosening and re-torquing the bushings with the vehicle load on them.
