Default Gear selection in HUD
Is there a way to enable gear selection shown in HUD via OBDEleven?

There must be. The gear selection appears by default on the RS5 so maybe it’s just part of the sport display though...

You can try the Q7 coding.

Enable Lap Timer in the VC; however the gear selection will only show in the HUD when the lap timer is running and counting.

This is how it will show gear selection on the Q7 HUDs.

I know by default RS models display gear selection in VC. However, do they show that in HUD too?

Lap timer is standard in S models, do you mean if I start the lap timer, the gear selection will automatically show in my HUD?

my 2019 RS5 HUD shows gear selection in the sport/track view along with shift lights, coolant temp and lap time. it’s not shown in the regular/street HUD view (nav, speed, etc).
