I performed the Enable Sport Display in HUD and I am seeing the Oil Temperature, Gear, and a zero Lap Time.

But I cannot figure out how to start and stop the Lap timer, and clear lap times to zero, etc.

Any help will be appreciated!

Try rolling and clicking roller button on the left side of steering wheel - the left and right surrounds of the roller wheel likely also help select menu options. A long press of a button is the typical Audi standard for zeroing/resetting a function.
