Confused about software/nav updates

I read through many of the DIY forums and was uncomfortable with doing the updates myself. I used NAV man which provided the SD's and step by step instructions. Even someone as technically challenged as myself found it straight forward and easy to do. Well worth the cost in my opinion.

Would love to hear your experience with it John when you receive and install it. I'm on Apple CarPlay all the time (using a wireless adapter for it) in my A4 and A5, but I might splurge for a map update on the A5. Thanks!

@Ascari_Blue_A5 — This is the video that pushed me to buy the kit.
I will post up my end result. So far, the NavMan team has been very responsive.

The only stumble I had was remembering how to update the maps from the SD Card. Took me a little while but it did come back to me.
While everything went to plan, I’d be a liar if I said I wasn’t nervous but it all worked as it should and my previous map version (NAR 2020/2021) has been updated to NAR 2023/2024.
I’m not sure how Audi’s software revision system works but as the photo below shows, it appears that my MU REV dropped after this update:
Unless newer software is a decrementing counter. Either way, it is worth it to me to get the map update as well as any other “fixes” it implemented.
