B8 S FOR

Hi Guys quick question.... I installed the B9 S5 ECS Tuning Oil Dipstick. On the level in my driveway which is table top flat..... So I ran the Audi App and look at the oil level and says 1/2 way with 4 bars down between Min and Max. Would think that would be 1/2 a quart? I pull the ECS Dipstick and there are 2 lines cut in it top and bottom so I look at the oil level and it’s well over 3/4 between the two lines????? Don’t want to overfill. Any explanations here guys? Experience with the ECS Dipstick​​​​​? Am I looking at it wrong??? Thanks!

Mine shows pretty close to the the upper line & MMI oil level is very close to the top.. It is hard tell, unless you look carefully.

I edited the picture to make the oil look darker (it is really pretty clear flows to the end easily).

Maybe flat but not actually level? Driveways are often sloped for rain runoff.

Thanks for the illustration. For some reason my MMI updated again through the app and was only 2 bars from Max similar to the ECS Dipstick which was slightly over 3/4 to the line at the top. Top line on the dipstick would mean full correct?

Yes, it is just really hard to see the upper edge of the oil.
