We are probably sitting about the same timeline then. Production on mine was done 9/19. At that time I was told sometimes it can take "up to 30 days after production" to receive it.

Idk if this is new but toronto dealership started showing 2019 Q5s, pretty sure yesterday there were only A6, A7, A8, Q8 and Q7

update: audi downtown has 3 2019 A5 on their website.

Crossing my fingers for my car to be delivered this week.

My car is supposed to be at port this week so I'm hoping that Audi finally releases the 2019s fairly soon....

I was recently told by a dealer that S5s would be released from port this week, but I am beginning to believe that was a ploy to encourage me to put a deposit down on one of the vehicles sitting at the port. A couple of weeks ago, a different dealer told me that S5s would not arrive until late January.

I've been told that they are being released from the port each week for the last 8 weeks, so take it with a grain of salt.

I agree. I think that the late January estimate is probably the most accurate. Do stevedores even work the week of Christmas?

Agreed. It seems strange that AoA would not be keeping dealers up to date on when the release of the cars will be, unless they are still waiting on the US for approval, which then makes sense that nobody would have a clue when that will happen.

And going a step further, if Washington shuts down this week, who knows how much time that will add to the approval processes already in the works?

If Audi releases the vehicles on or after January 1, they are legally permitted to call them MY2020. Why not just skip 2019?
