2025 Audi B10 A5 spotted

Hate to say it that image can't be a B10. The B10 loses the clamshell hood and the hood line doesn't run to the top edge of the grill. It's just an over-enhanced B9.

The front side vents seem to be functional with radiators of some kind behind them. I wonder if Audi switched the 2.9TT over to air-to-air cooling like the 4.0TT has. It has the same setup with an intercooler behind each from side vent; one for each turbo.

Very true. But this thread has gone off the rails as the A6 e-tron doesn't look like the new B10 A5 series, aparte from them both being Sportback style vehicles. I imagine the B10 RS5 will look at least as aggressive as the C8 RS6 that B7Quattro Pete rightly admires.
I think the lines on this very recent render by 4rings.ai are too sharp, which is Cupra territory, and the headlights aren't quite right. Noting that no RS5 body prototypes, either Avant or Sportback, have been seen and probably won't be for 6 months or even more. But when I look at what BMW or Mercedes are doing inside and out, I don't think it's a contest in design terms.
I was at my local dealership a few days back. Normally I don't even bother glancing around the showroom as it is typically filled with Q4 or Q8 e-trons and the rest are Q3s. But my eyes popped out of my head at an RS5 Sportback Competition in Daytona, black pack and carbon. Next to it was an RS3 sedan in matt finish Daytona with black pack. They both looked amazingly good. I am so sick of seeing SUV's and ugly cars, I left there smiling and checking my bank account...

I'll miss that too. But I seriously doubt the insurance industry holds any direct sway. If a model starts pulling away from competitors in terms of higher insurance costs, that will impact on sales. And insurance rates are going through the roof, everywhere. EVs are a disaster in progress, but that's another story.
The secondary issue is pedestrian collision protection is mandating some changes. On global cars, the most severe region restriction is the one that determines design.
