Is this only for the newer Audis? I tried to log in but wont take my vehicle VIN but mine is a 2010. VIN possibly linked to old owner? Anyone mind sending me the map update through email?

3 Things:

1) It’s a multi gigabyte file so most email / internet providers will not pass a file that size through email.

2) I seriously doubt that your 9 year old Audi would accept the data this update supplies.

3) Audi offers 5 updates (2.5 years @ a new update every 6 months) and then you have to pay. Your 2010 is way beyond that 2.5 year window.

You should probably contact an Audi dealer to see what you can do to get updates.

I think this is correct. I ran SpeedTest just before I downloaded and was at 110 Mb/s. It took me an hour.

I live 0.5 mi from a 100 Mbps fiber line. Me - I have 5.8 Mbps DSL. Any chance getting this downloaded?

( anyone want to start a fund for me? It’s only a few bucks per foot to get to the high speed line)

I downloaded last night and for most people with decent internet the limiting factor isn't going to be your personal DL speeds but rather how busy the server is.

I have a high speed fiber line and a powerful developer laptop yet the download was coming down at 225 Kbps from the download server.

Just start the download before you head to bed and let it roll.

Or wait a week or so for the initial rush to pass and the the servers can regain some bandwidth.

It might be faster if I buy a USB stick, copy the files, and USPS it to you!

Agreed. Alternate: I’ll go to the mother-in-laws house with her 100Mbps. You can skip the USB stick and donate for the first two feet of fiber to the house. :-)

My 2019 S5 came with 2018/2019 stamps. Now showing 2019 after update which took 24 hours to download and 20 minutes to install.
Thank you.
