I just pulled the front bumper again to get ready for an intensive install on the RS style grille.
I removed the crash bar also so I can drop it off to be powder coated semi gloss black. That's the only way to get a lasting coat on it.
I'll also figure out a way to get the front camera installed too. After that, my front end will be done.
I'll update at the end of the week in a new thread as this one is too long.

Mock up. That raw aluminum crash bar stands out so bad.

Crash bar removed and ready to be dropped off. I'll also be putting holes around the areas marked with permanent marker for the parking sensors.

I don't understand why people measure from the ground instead of from the wheel centre...

Nice ride!!!

Thank you guys! This grille process has been a lot more frustrating than it should have been, but it's about to be all worth it.

UPDATE:
I got the front impact/crash bar to the powdercoat place today. They will be covering it in a more durable black powder that's kind of a semi gloss black textured finish. It's literally meant for bumpers and fender flares. Kind of resembles rhino liner. It'll be done in a few days.

I also got the notches (for the parking sensor brackets to clear the new grille provisions) cut and smoothed down by a local metal fabrication shop.

Last of all, I used a soldering iron to make two very small circular holes in the RS style grille, on the bottom side of the Audi rings emblem. I then used four (2 per side just in case) small black zip ties to zip tie the OEM camera mount rear bracket to the RS grille with the holes I made.
The result is a pretty strong and non moving front parking camera on the RS grille!!
You will also have to trim a part of the bracket so it is not visible from the front.

Default Crash/Impact bar back

The bar is back from powdercoat.
Almost done with the reinstall. Accidentally broke through temperature sensor bracket that clips into the bar. 🤦*♂️
