Picked up the S5 Monday afternoon...and what a car! Absolutely loved my A5...but this is the difference between night & day.

Only problem I am going to have is getting my neck muscles built up for full throttle runs!

I had a 2009 A5 that I thought was a pretty good car...then got the 2012 S5 with the V-8. Wow! What a difference. Have a 2013 RS5 on order that should arrive in mid February. "Patience is a virtue..."

OP, first, congrats! Now you'll need to update your forum name.

Had you seen the color combination prior to ordering? If it didn't go with an exclusive color (like Sepang), it would be Phantom Black w/ panda.

My A5 was Brilliant Black (with Linen Beige), and had seen the seat combo on a friend's Phantom Black S5 Cab, so that's what I wanted.

I have had two "must haves" since 1974 with my cars...1) Black paint...2) manual trans. From there I keep it simple to have the best driving car...don't care about all the bells & whistles, and that is what I have.
