engine into the RS5 and tweak up the bouncy/squeaky bits, it'll go over better with the press... I'm still excited as all get out!

Default imho, if audi ditches the servotronic relay the S5 will get great reviews

none of the reviews have been terrible, but the most common negative comment is that steering feel is vague. I had servotronic in my old A6 and I can attest that made the steering vague. I removed it the first month I had the car and never looked back. It made parking a bit more difficult, but was totally worth it.

Default Just read the July Issue of Automobile- Driven ... "The S5 is no agile sportster"

They say the usual, diesel variant is the best...
----------------------------------------------
In summary:

+ "Its ability to accelerate hard from 120+ is remarkable"

+ "horizon warping straight-line speed"

+ "Looks expensive"

- "Carry a bit too much speed into a tight corner and the default mode is understeer, and there's no point in trying to use the throttle to adjust the cornering attitude"

- "Dynamic gains don't seem to reflect the engineering effort that the company has put into the chassis; this isn't a car that will tempt those wedded to a great driving experience."

----------------------------------------------
Take it for what you will, IMO Automobile Magazine has a couple of editors that dislike Audi, using such words as "medicore", "lackluster" and "poor" in a few reviews referencing the handling of the current D3 and B7 chassis...

Yes! At least BMW makes it an option. Too bad Audi doesn't do the same.
