Default well it been a nice ride but the party is over

somehow in the back of my mind I was waiting for this day to come - today alone I saw 2 S5's and 4 A5's around the west los angeles and beverly hills area. I was the first one in LA, or so I was told, to take delivery on an S5 in 07 and without sounding narcissistic it was a lot of fun in 07 and for most of last year, giving tours of the car and being sort of an ambassador of hotness for a while. I just love this car, except for my 65 shelby and maybe a boss 302 I have never gotten a car so well suited to my taste. I have no point to make other than this is one fine automobile and its really beginning to sound nicer all the time, really glad I did not change the exhaust.

Default its odd, for as many cars that there are in LA I almost never see a RS4

I see maybe 20-30 p-cars a day and everything else but I think I have seen <10 rs's over the years. total show stopper imo, nice having something that only a true car person will understand.

Default Yeah, will hate the 2.0 A5's when they come, I like the fact that the S5 is harder to come by, I

waited nearly 1 year after order for mine. So, I think a little exclusivity for a while should be ok.

Default That is odd for as much money there is in your town..... The RS4 could be their daily :-)

I actually saw a Ferrari this morning

I was like WTF..... with a big smile on my face.

... and it was from Florida! doing 60 in the high speed lane! WTF.

Default Why? Because a chipped one will make an S5 moot?

And it will cost thousands less, be lighter, have more sporty handling, and look exactly the same with S-line trim?

0-62 mph in 6.5 seconds

unladen weight: 3,285 lbs

(uk scale) total fuel consumption: 38.2 mpg

40:60 Quattro split

Heheh, can't wait

Default Well, I think "moot" is probably a stretch...

Wow. I like those 7-spoke wheels. I wonder how light they are compared to stock.

Default That was also one of the reasons I got the RS (though only a small portion in my reasoning)

as I knew the A/S5 would be popular
