Anyone with VAG-COM in CA area preferably OC willing to help ?

I am willing to pay the reasonable amount. I wonder if anyone does

I think the only thing absolutely necessary to do with Vag-com is the winking DRL. It looks retarded when the light goes out when the turning signal is on. Everything else is pretty much useless

how does it look "retarded", since you cannot see this happening when driving?

I'm not a huge fan of the way the LED "wink" looks, but it seems to be technically required by law in the US, and I don't really feel like giving the police a reason to bug me just for a minor aesthetic improvement.

The first VAG-COM change I made was turning off the seatbelt reminder. I always wear my seatbelt, but sometimes if I'm sitting in the car waiting for someone or something, I take it off, and the chime is annoying as heck.
