So will the A5 get the new 280hp 3.6 engine in 2010 for the 2011 model year?

I thought they were phasing out the 3.6. They are replacing it with the 3.0T in the Q7
my guess is that the A5 will keep the 3.2 for its model life, though I could see it getting a modest power bump when "refreshed."

Who said the TT-RS was 280hp? I said...
there were some rumors out there that Audi was going to show a TT w/ the new 3.6 FSI V6 AS WELL as the TT-RS on Monday in Geneva... Since the TT-RS is the show stopper....that tid bit of information hasn't been as popular... but the TT-RS is using the new 2.5 5-pot which everyone seems to be thinking is in the 340-350hp range..
..with that said, the 3.6 in the Passast R36 (which is the same engine we're speaking about) is already pushing 300hp...

I was referring to the new range topping TT engine (thanks proport)....
...but if audi wont shoehorn it into the A5 whats next, the 3.2 is done IMO, the 3.0t may be too much of an overlap on the S5 unless audi shrinks the A5 a smudge for the next generation then a detuned 2.5T, opinions?
