This image was taken at "The Snake" along Mulholland Highway in the Santa Monica Mountains above Los Angeles. RockStorePhotos is camped their on the weekends and takes excellent photos. We usually due our 100 mile mountain loop between dawn and 8am so that we can have the road to ourselves. However, it was my birthday, so we had breakfast and treated ourselves to a second run, enjoying the fact that I have lived another year to be an even older fart :-)
My wife was in her Estoril Blue S4.

She is way quicker - just no fear… its always the same, whether we are mountain biking, or sport driving. She was an athlete all through her early life. I was mostly a clod - although I am the gear head and prefer to turn a wrench than just about any other past time. Tomorrow, I am rebuilding the brakes on a friend's Porsche :-)

How Cool - one question… who cleans the brake dust off the wheels each night? When we get home, its my job to do wheels and windshields for the next morning… I am soooo blessed to have a wife who also loves cars and spirited driving. She jokes that if she hated cars, we could reallocated car funds and put her in Hyundai and me in a Porsche. I am quite happy to compromise, however as we have such great fun on the drives when she comes along.
