I wouldn't classify it as being risky with respect to damaging your wheels.
im on 235/35/19 tires and travel pot-hole infested highways daily and i've had minimal wheel damage.
the s5 i having 255/35 would get the job done fine. I'm also sure Audi would choose a tire that would be stronger.
In terms of comfort, I have no clue what to expect. Partly depends on the suspension I assume, and we've all read the reviews.
