Default S5 wheels the last part of my order

OK...the order is just about complete now, but there is one outstanding question...the wheels. Here is where I am so far:

-> S5 in Garnet Red Pearl Metallic (Europe Spec)
-> Black Napa Leather with Red Door Inserts
-> Carbon Fibre Trim

For the wheels, I asked my dealer if I could get the new 19" Titanium RS 4 wheels instead of the stock S5 wheels (which I think are hot). He is going to check and get back with me, if I can do that what do you think?

The link has the look I am going for, thoughts?

http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread/t-111675.html</a

How long will it take to get the car w/ Garnet and the red door inserts?

The dealer hasnt let me know the price difference or the time delay for the modifications. He was fairly confident since the Garnet was available on the car in Europe that wouldn't be a big deal. The door inserts are custom, but also not outrageous...interestingly it is the RS 4 titanium wheels that he is not sure if he can swing.

Personally.....HATE the "always dirty" titanium look for wheels. Maybe its just me.

I like those a lot. Let us know what your dealer says.

I'm not usually a fan of the titanium look, but those wheels look especially nice. They have a combination of elegance, and aggressiveness.

As far as whether you should wait to purchase thos wheels, I have found that when you order wheels from Audi you pay a signifficant premium over what you would pay if you purchased wheels on the open market. On the open market, you have a much wider choice, and you can keep your original wheels, or sell them to someone else. Even though you may not like them, I'm sure the original wheels would look great on any of the older Audi's out there.
