S5 Brakes. Grabby/touchy
My car is a very nice 2015 S5. 6MT, sport diff, active suspension, 7k miles. Since new the brakes have been very sensitive, grabby. It is very hard to drive the car smoothly and requires concentration when applying the brakes. Most of the time I overbrake and make my passenger uncomfortable.
Have any of you had a similar experience? Solution?
Thanks, Eric [S5, S6, RT10, FLHRC, FLHR, XK-120, 85P, and a truck]

My '15 S5 has 9k miles and I haven't had a similar issue. Similar equipment to yours.

My S5/6 MT was a bit hard to modulate the brakes...
… for me it was the seating position I had to choose in order to get a full extension of the clutch… the seat was closer to the pedals than I preferred. In our 7-speed S-Tronic S4/S5/RS5 - no complaints. You might also try rebidding the brakes as my 6MT generally had less brake wear as a function of engine braking in the manual tranny. All three other S-Cars have had new brakes by the 15K mark, the manual S5 had 20K at turn in with plenty of pads left… I did love my 6MT - the 2nd to 3rd pull in the canyons was a delight :-)
Good luck and let us know the outcome

Eric,
I did a re-bed on the S5 as you suggested and that has helped. The brakes are still a bit 'touchy' but greatly improved. Thank you for your suggestion.
I still have the clutch pedal/big feet issue. A wider pedal pad has helped. Next I will remove the dead pedal.

I hear you on the foot issue...
I wear size 13 or 14 and its a tight fit in the footwell. I have done a lot of shopping to find narrow driving shoes that are soft on the bottom and allow for the most freedom of movement that I can find. Converse "Chuck Taylors" are pretty narrow for their size as are the Merrells "in town" shoes.
