Default RS5 tire choices

Sorry for another tire question. My plans are to put all season tires on and leave them on year round (in Ohio).

I did not opt to go with dedicated winter rims/tires as my dealer is an hour away. Have any RS5 owners put all seasons on and if so what did you go with? I am favoring the Conti's as I have them on my A6 and have been pleased.

Decided to go ahead with the Conti A/S's since I have had good luck with them on my A6. Seems to be the tire of choice for A/S's.

I am planning to go with Conti DWS here in Denver.

Seriously ? An all-season tire ? I don't have any experience with the Conti DWS... but the tread pattern does look more like a winter tire. Are you planning on driving another car on snowy days ? If you are going to switch tires to summers, why wouldn't you get a set of snow tires for the winter ?

Yes, I am going to swap the P zeros with an all season tires - Conties DWS-the best and proven in this field!

I had them on the M3 which I drove this past winter, they handled so well and it does not bother me to drive my quattro RS with them in the CO snow.

And I wont switch I just will run them all year long. I had a track day on Friday at HPR on the P zeros and they are halfway gone anyway..maybe are good for one more track day and thats it..

I agree, most of my driving here in Ohio is limited in the city/highway. The Conti's have proven to be stellar in these conditions all year round. I will have my summer tires stored and probably get rims just for track time. My nearest dealer to me is an hour away, so for convenience too I am staying with the Conti's year round.
