The sunroof is huge, but it doesn't slide open, it only tilts
I'll have to reserve final judgement until I sit in one and see it in person, but I think I would rather have a normal size sunroof that will slide back and open fully rather than just tilt.
The Porsche 944 and 968 had a huge sunroof that just tilted open at the back or you had to remove the panel and stow it in the trunk. In that car a smaller sunroof that slid open would have been better IMO.

Re: The sunroof is huge, but it doesn't slide open, it only tilts
and that is why, unfortunately, i won't consider this car...i use the sunroof almost 100% of the time and a tilt function just doesn't do it for me. i think this is a big mistake on audi's part. heck, on the m3 even bmw decided to offer a sunroof in lieu of the carbon fiber roof....

Saw the same red S5, plus an R8 at Hollywood & Vine!
Audi is just teasing us L.A. folks with these things, they look flat out amazing on the street. The S5 driver didn't see me, but the driver of the dark grey R8 saw me giving him the thumbs up on my cycle and waved back.
I'm sure they're just driving these around L.A. to generate buzz. Very smart move.

I am advised that it is very slightly larger, but that there is no real gain
in trunk space. However, I have not seen actual measurements, and prolly won't do real research unless they make an RS5 that substantially outperforms my current car.
