Default Question about 2011 A5

I am thinking of buying a used A5 or TT. 2011 model to be specific. They both have the same engine and I am definitely going to do the APR ECU tune once I get one. I plan on doing some track work afterwards.

My question is, with certain wheels does the sports package come standard? I see for 2012 models, if you upgrade from standard "V" shape 10 spoke 18 inch wheels to "non-V" 18 inch 10 spoke wheels you automatically default to the sports package. Is this true for the 2011 models too? Thanks.

The 2011 Sport Package, unlike the 2012, came with 19" 5-Y-spoke wheels and Pirelli P-Zero tires.

No doubt given our ever deteriorating US roadways the Audi USA lawyers mandated 18" rims as standard for the 2012 Sport package (I run 18" rims in the Winter). To wit, there's a long stretch of my commute interstate that's in the worst shape it's ever been, and we're having a remarkably mild and snow/ice-free Winter!

All the best with your new-to-you acquisition. It's a fine machine!
