Default Painting the grill

I have had my '15 S5 for about two months now. I have added a few things - digital boost gauge, cubby hole net, Windfire under-the-doors lights. I have looked at alternative grills but did not see any I cared for. I did see a photo here of a black grill that was very nice so decided to paint mine. Here are before, during and after pics. The last photo is of the grill of my treasured S6.

I used Dipit paint. Worked quite well. If you do one use the very best masking tape you can find. Avoid the stuff from the bottom drawer that has been there for 3 years. And the chromed plastic scratches very easily so be careful. It was probably more work to paint the grill than changing it.

looks good, similar to mine with the black optic package but looks great on your color with a touch of chrome.
