I just got my 2014 S5 Cab. This was in my glovebox, but I can't figure out what it is or what it's for. Anyone know?

Obviously it's some kind of object holder, but is it supposed to go somewhere? It has hooks on the back. What are they supposed to hook to?

that should insert into a space on the upper side of the glovebox to hold a media device

Thanks, I guess I'll have to take a closer look. That's what I figured, but I couldn't find anything. There is some sort of latch on the bottom of my glovebox, just beneath a small holster area. But I couldn't get this object to fit there.

Yup, your I-Pod fits perfect.

Mine is mounted in the top-right (aka the "ceiling") of the glove box, if that helps in finding where it goes in. I didn't realize it was removable.
