Default Milano leather

I ordered the Milano leather package but wasn't able to see it at the dealership. I know this gives you a full leather seat and base but does it change anything else to the interior above the standard trim?

My A6 had standard leather not too much difference in my opinion. I would have put the $1000 to something better like B&O. The stock sound system is disappointing.

It's the grade of leather. Nappa is the most noteablely different. It's softer in terms of feel and has less of the...skin look to it. Valcona is the standard leather in most current Audis. Milano is a thicker, more lush leather.

Suggestion: No eating/drinking in the car.
Suggestion #2: have white coveralls that you put on immediately before driving.

Alcantara is synthetic suede. Abandon all hope [of being stain-free], all ye who enter here.

There's some tips in the detailing forum on how to keep alcantara clean. I've even heard of mr. clean magic erasers being used.

Actually, Valcona is a higher grade of leather than Milano, which is itself a higher grade than the standard leather.

Nappa leather is exactly what it says - top-grain Nappa leather (just like you find on other Nappa leather products). It is a very high quality grade of leather.

Valcona is not available in the US. It's also apparently top-grain leather but it's not quite as high-end as Nappa (it's also a bit firmer).

Milano is a corrected-grain leather like the standard leather, but it's of higher quality and is somewhat less processed/corrected. Milano has a slightly more "natural" and less textured look than the standard leather as it's less engineered (meaning it has more of the natural characteristics of leather and less processing.
