Default interior lights

I really like the color of the interior lights in the a5 covertables. I will be ordering an a5 coupe. Is it possible to just swap out my bulbs for the ones used in the convertables? Thanks in advance.

You can easily swap out all interior bulbs (dome, map, door, footwell, etc) with LED's. Took me no time at all with LED bulbs from Tunerdomes.com

I did the same. Bought the full interior set from Tunerdomes.com. Only complaint is that I apparently paid for an additional pair of map lights that I don't need. Not a big deal, though. The lights look great.

Do you think my Audi dealer could order in the bulbs that are used in the covertables and install them in my A5 coupe?

sure they could... and it would be around $300 in parts and labor vs. $60 + your sweat to do it the Tunerdomes way.

for the guys that have done the Tunerdomes lights - do they still fade in/out like the factory ones when you open and close the doors? From my experience with LED's on other vehicles - they aren't capable of dimming...

Not having either vehicle, what are the differences between the two?

Just checked and my dome lights do fade in and out. I couldn't tell with the footwell lights simply because it's still light out, but I imagine if the dome lights fade, then all of them do. Like I said, I've replaced all the interior lights with Tunerdome.com LEDs.
