Some quick math for a guess...
In Germany, the S5 is selling for 58,500 Euro (base MSRP). In the U.S., it's $53,900. That means a ratio of 0.921 (don't even need to bother with exchange rate since it's still apples to apples).
In Germany, the RS5 is selling for 77,700 Euro. Thus, based on the math, multiply that by 0.921 you can guess a US$ price of US$71,560. Remember, this is the base MSRP for a Premium Plus model with no options at all.

don't forget that we can't mix and match like europe, so it will be probably 2 big packages.
-i'll guess basic rs pack with everything but sport exhaust and ceramic brakes and maybe carbon fiber seats, possibly the dynamic steering, but will likely be 72-75K
-premium (or sport or whatever they will call it) that has the fancy bells and whistles including B&O and all of the above. Fully maxed i'll guess 85-90K
It better hurry up, i'm tired of waiting and if the M5 or the c63 amg black is out first and lust worthy...then....

According to Audi President of America (Johan de Nysschen) in a Q&A on fourtitude.com 7/28/11
"In the future we can expect that RS models will be introduced to the US with the normal delay that also applies to the regular derivatives. We have delayed the introduction of the RS 5 for marketing reasons. The RS 5 will receive a mid life cycle product refresh in Europe early next year and we did not want to introduce the RS 5 to the US market only to change the design a few months later. The TT RS is now available in the market."

I'm assuming the German price already includes the VAT, which is one reason prices always come out cheaper in the US after adjusting for exchange rate. It's a rule of thumb that cars sold in Europe are generally priced at a 1:1 Euro/Dollar ratio when sold in the US.

That may be a bit on the high side when it comes to US pricing. As I pointed out above, the S5 in the US costs less in US$ than the S5 in Germany in Euros.
