How fun is your A5 2.0T?
Considering 328i coupe or A5. Keep going back and forth.
Those that have purchased A5 2.0T coupes, how would you rate the "fun factor" on a scale of 1 (not fun at all) to 10 (extremely fun)?
Thanks!

I live in a very affluent area, with Ferraris, Maserattis, a couple of GT3 RS Porsches, an occasional Lambo Guiardo, and a Carrera GT prowling the streets. When I have been on the road with ALL of these cars...they are staring at MY car. I can guarantee you that they have never given a 328i even a passing glance.
So do yourself a favor...if you want to look like everybody else on the road...buy the BMW...if not...get the A5. You will never regret it.

Fun from the standpoint that it's unique and good looking with great wet weather handling. But the A5 is underpowered and not quick or fast, so in that respect, not much fun

I find the 2.0T to be a decent little power plant. It is not that fast, but it is really quick. The handling is amazing, I always find myself smiling when I reach a winding road and can get on the gas and just stick to the road. I have had no regrets buying my 2.0T A5. I would say its a 7-8 on the Fun Factor.

the engine is the part I like the least about my car. I came from a toyota v6. it moved when I asked it to. the lag in the turbo is annoying. I sometimes have to anticipate my wanting to speed up ahead of time. it doesn't sound very good either. the mileage is amazing. it's very smooth idling for a four cylinder. I really like my car but I'd really love it with a 6 cylinder.

IMO, if you want a convertible, you really need to spring for the S5. In the coupe form, the 2.0T is a perfectly competent engine.

you are probably right! I also could benefit from the S position to get the car to rev. Overall, I think it moves pretty good for just cruising around. When I want to get up and go, I'm disappointed.
I test drove the supercharged 6 and I really didn't care for the booming sound. I love the rims, seats and the other visual differences. I wasn't ready to spend that much either. The A5 was enough.
