How different......?????
Hey guys, I was just thinking..., Looking at how beautiful the S5 already is, I read that it would be getting a face lift next year or so.
How different do you guys think the S5 would look if it gets a face lift? This really borthers me to know that in no time my car would be getting a makeover, i would care less if it would only be something minor. I would have to say that this is the only thing about BMW, and Mercs that i like, they let you enjoy your car for a reasonable time before any dramatic changes (i think this also help with residual). Audi seem to always change or make the car look so different in no time.
I really want the car to still look exactly like it does now for at least next 3 to 4yrs, without any dramatic changes in design/looks...
Please share your thoughts, i would be really glad to read them.

Audi will not facelift the A5 next year. It's too soon in the model run.
Expect 2011 to be the year of some exterior changes. Most often it takes three model years for a manufacturer to make a move. So don't worry, you have some time to enjoy the current look. And remember, just about every facelift and update is for the better. We all love our current cars, but time and competition does not stand still in the auto world. Knowing and understanding this makes it easier to accept when our cars become "outdated." Or in other words, there is always going to be a new model year, a newer car, a new feature, a new update, and a new look. Accept this fact and enjoy what you have today. If the car is good for you today, it will be good for you in four years.

Most likely not cosmetic

The 2010 S5 Cabriolet will get the DSG 7 speed and new 3.0T engine, while the Coupe will get them the following year.

Very minor tweaks already in production
Everything confirmed from week 45 should have the new HDD-based nav system instead of the DVD-nav.
I think the new LED rear lights should be on S5 from build week 49, as should the new-look side mirrors with indicator repeaters moved into them off the front flanks.
