Nothing absolutely official, but all signs point to the 3.0T coming in the 2012 model year, which would be available starting late-summer/early-fall 2011.

correct. Supercharger in the S5 cab now, supercharger in the MY2012 coupe.

no news of anything like that happening anytime soon, my guess is it will take place when the a new styling gets done to the current model

and new DL750 (D for dual clutch transmission, L for longitudinal engine layouts and 750 for maximum capacity of 553 lbs/ft of torque/750 Newton meters) seven-speed (which could eventually be nine-speed because of the new eight-speed sequential shift automatic transmission, though eventual nine-speeds for the DSG is far from official) S Tronic direct shift gearbox (DSG) transmission (as the optional transmission worldwide for the S5 coupe) will replace the normally aspirated gasoline 4.2L V8 and the six-speed or eight-speed Tiptronic transmission (the six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission is currently optional worldwide for the S5 coupe) in late calendar year 2011 for model year 2012.

why are some people so hardwired here, everyone should have their own opinion long or short version. He made a point though, he's got the brains and you possibly pick up our garbage

don't know long how long you've been reading posts here--you're obviously new to posting your own--stick around a while and you will see what i mean.

BTW, brains and "intel" are not one and the same...I've known about quite a bit about future unconfirmed Audi news also, I just don't wish to be a leaker of info.

My poke at him goes far beyond just this post of him ranting of what you call "brains"...
