just put ski's though the center armrest pass today, fit perfectly, sits further back than my s4

Default I can fit my skis (length 183) perfectly through the pass-through. They just touch the armrest.

I would use the provided ski sack... The edges of your skis will probably scratch things up, not to mention skis make annoying sounds while driving.

Default Picked up some friends at the airport....

2 Snowboards in Board bag through 1 seat, and 2 large suitcases in trunk. perfect fit.

+1. Had the same problem in A4. Is there a roof rack for these cars btw?

Default Just last weekend...ski bag is great too.

Did it with drivers seat down and once with thru the ski boot. The only thing that scared me was when I did it with the seat down I worried the skis could hit and poke a hole thru the B&O speaker in the rear seat.

I did! I lowered the driver's side backseat and just slid my board through the trunk.
