Default FinallyS5, we tried to do the CC mod today, but no luck...

...the good news is that the headlamps were super simple to remove from the car. The bad news is taht we could not figure out a way to get at the amber. After several minutes with a flashlight looking at the guts of the adaptive projector inside the lamp assembly, we could not figure out how to get the projector out.

I guess the residual good news is that if anyone decides to just get the euro lamps, they will take all of 10 minutes to swap out!

At least Roswell and I were able to paint the toll transponders matte black, so the time was not totally wasted.

Pics to follow.

Default The glue looked way too robust to try that, plus...

...since it is not MY car, I did not want to chance anything. I was hoping to do the B6 method, where you can just dremel out the retainer tabs and pull out the amber through the hole where the projector is located.
