The decals claimed to be high-temp. But i didn't trust them (looked like plain old vinyl to me)
What I did is paint the portion where the decal would cover - white, let them dry, added the decal, painted the calipers and the decals red (with high-temp paint made especially for calipers), let dry, then removed the decals with an x-acto knife. So its actually paint - not the decal.

kinda curious myself--- why put Brembo covers on your brakes if you tried the real thing, and they felt and sounded like crap?
Not trying to be smug...again-just curious....

Does the key come out of the case easily? I don't have the keyless start so i need easy access to the key. Seems like this is for those with push button start?

Loved this mod
Was seriously thinking about doing this myself and I think you have swayed me to do the same.
Also have another cheap mod coming, but will show it to you guys in all its glory when done, with photos of course.

In case anyone's thinking about painting calipers, a how-to link:

I guess you can buy the kit on Amazon as well, for about $40. high temp vinyl stickers on eBay seem to hold up well based on posts. I'm thinking of painting my wife's Touareg, as it came stock with four pot Brembos. Maybe gloss black with white lettering. The S4 already has S4 stickers. A bummer it didn't come with the big Brembo's though. There's just something about a nice set of stoppers...
