A5 Odd car behavior after 11k miles
I've had a few odd things pop up on my A5 2.0T 6MT after 11k miles.
1. After about 30-40 minutes of driving, the wipers (in the automatic position) will engage without any rain or water (just once). I would think if I needed to clean an area out this would happen sooner. Not a big problem, just kind of strange.
2. One time after parking the car and getting out, the car refused to lock via the remote. Lights stayed on, and the car was unresponsive to the remote. Opening and closing the doors had no effect. I had to get back in the car start and stop before it would finally dim the lights and lock.
3. Starting the car the other day (in about 90 degree weather), the car shook for about 10 seconds, and the message "Ignition is on" remained in the dash with the engine light on. Finally the shaking stopped and the message went away. AC was on in the car at the time. Turning off the AC after starting did not fix the issue right away.
Very happy with the car, just curious if anyone else has experienced these issues.

"Starting the car the other day (in about 90 degree weather), the car shook for about 10 seconds"
This part is common, and as long as it is mild it's nothing to worry about.
Some owners report a move from one "Top Tier" fuel to another solved their issue. I have this but it is mild and intermittent.

I've had #1 happen this summer. Usually in very hot humid conditions, no rain, etc. One swipe of the wipers and they turn off. Odd.
And #3 has happened although the shaking was not that violent and went away after 5-10 seconds. Again, hot weather. And happened after car was off for a day or so. No biggie so I haven't followed up on either condition.

Twice in 6000 miles my car ran very rough for a few seconds while the check engine light and the EPC light went on. The car was cold. I told the dealer about it and they are going to check for codes while it's there for the new steering hose.
